The library has a selection of electronic databases which contain reference to journal articles on specific subject. The databases can be searched quickly by subject or keyword. The results or your search will either provide the fill text journal articles or will refer you to articles in specific journals. Where a database only provides references, you will normally be able to use the Find it! service to locate a copy of hte article.
Other databases provide different information, such as company accounts, law reports or technical standards.
Many databases allow you to save searches and will deliver regular and automatic e-mail notifications of new papers. There are also services, such as Zetoc, which list tables of contents of journals and again will notify you of new papers.
