Study spaces: essential use only

All PCs and study spaces are for essential use only and must be booked in advance.

As part of the Government's roadmap out of lockdown guidance, you are advised to minimise the number of journeys you make. Before you visit the library, carefully consider if your reason to be there is necessary. If it is, please confirm for what reason your visit is necessary by selecting the appropriate box on the booking form.

Current government guidance allows university libraries to open for those students defined as essential users only. This includes students who are:

  • students attending essential face to face teaching.
  • students without access to appropriate IT equipment or study space
