Using Library space

Information about silent, quiet and group study zones, how to report issues with noise and poor behaviour and our filming and photography policy.

Study spaces

All PCs and study spaces must be booked in advance.

There are spaces throughout the library to suit your needs.

  • Individual spaces available (no group spaces due to social distancing)

  • Space available for study, PC and Mac use

  • PCs with Art & Design and Science & Engineering specialist software

  • Accessible desks

  • Desks with plug sockets 

  • A mixture of bookable and drop-in spaces

Please refer to the floor plan of the Library to see where the seat you have booked is located

Please note the following:

  • You will need to confirm your booking by verifying the email that will be sent to you. You have to do this within 30 minutes of making the booking or your seat will be released
  • You can book up to 4 hours at a time
  • You can book a maximum of 6 hours per day
  • You cannot make another booking within 1 hour of your last booking
  • You can book up to 4 slots a day, up to 7 days in advance

 

Study zones

The All Saints Library, All Saints has six floors and offers a variety of study zones.

Please show consideration to other users by occupying the correct spaces for your needs. The Chat Zone on the ground floor is the designated space for taking a break and consumption of hot food. The lift lobbies can be used to make phone calls.
