Most ebooks allow multiple users, but some limit to three concurrent users. If you get a message telling you the ebook is in use, just try again in 15 minutes.
You may print chapters, sections or pages within the copyright restrictions of the title. The print/download limit for a book, including the number of allowed pages remaining, are displayed on the book's Detail Page. Ebook Central allow you to print 40% of an ebook. These limits reset after 24 hours.
Printing or downloading a chapter or page range do the same thing - both options create a PDF that does not expire. You can then print the PDF at anytime or read offline.
To select by page range, use Print to PDF. Determine page numbers as required.
To select by chapter, use Chapter Download. If the chapter is longer than the number of pages you have left to print/download, an error will be displayed with the number of pages left. You’ll need to instead print-to-PDF a page range within your limit.

Annotate the book using Highlight,
Add Note, or
Add Bookmark. Review or delete your annotations under
in the side bar.
Copy text - either the entire page you're reading by selecting Copy without having selected text, or select the text to copy and select
Copy from pop-up toolbar.
Get a citation for a selected book, in your choice of format, by clicking Get a citation. Citations are also automatically included when you copy or print.
Organize and share your research using Bookshelf tools. Here you can share a book or folder of books with others, or export the notes you've made in a book.
