We will listen to you and try to resolve the issue, whatever that may be, as quickly as possible. We hope that the majority of your problems will be resolved at this point.
If you do not think that the issue is resolved and want to take it further, please ask to be referred to the Duty Manager/Librarian or one of the Library Service Managers.
The relevant manager will investigate your problem, and try to resolve matters to your satisfaction. They will:
If your issue relates to something which is the responsibility of another part of the University, we will let you know. If you wish, we will pass on the problem to the appropriate manager, working together with them where appropriate to resolve the issue.
If you still think the issue is unresolved, please email Rachel Beckett, Director of Library Services (email: firstname.lastname@example.org) who will review all the information and provide a written response within 10 working days.
All issues will be dealt with in a confidential manner. However, for them to be investigated fully and appropriate action taken, it may be necessary to disclose your identity as part of the process.
