Arts and Humanities faculty report

Library support for Learning, Teaching and Research for the 2018-2019 academic year for Arts & Humanities

  • In the National Student Survey Library satisfaction was 89.28% overall. For Arts & Humanities it was 90%
  • Over 1 million visits were recorded in our All Saints and Crewe Libraries. The busiest day was Monday 29th April 2019, with 8,384 visits

Help and Support

  • 66,074 enquiries were handled at our physical and virtual Help Desks
  • 9,395 students attended 157 Welcome sessions. For Arts & Humanities 2,884 students attended at 57 Welcome sessions
  • There were 239,329 views of our referencing guide
  • 15,113 students attended 606 InfoSkills sessions (576.25 hours). For Arts & Humanities 3,426 students attended at 116 InfoSkills sessions (146 hours)
  • There were 45,200 views of our help videos

Resources

  • 6,183 digitised chapters and articles were downloaded
  • Almost 170,000 items were loaned from our All Saints and Crewe Libraries
  • 3,558 reading lists were accessed 372,455 times
  • 30,000+ ejournals were accessed 4,554,434 times
