Who?


Undergraduate and postgraduate part time, distance learning and placement students, full time taught postgraduates, researchers and staff from other UK universities.

What can I access?

You are entitled to borrow up to four of our two week loan books.

You can use other books and journals within the library.

You cannot make inter-library loan requests.

Online resources:

You can have Walk in Access (WIA) to online resources from PCs within the Library. WIA gives you access to a limited range of our online services.  You need to register for this service during help desk staffed hours each time you visit the library. You will need to provide two sets of ID including photo and proof of address.

Access to Microsoft applications including Word, Powerpoint and Excel is not available.

For free visitor wifi choose _BTWi-fi_ManMet from the list of networks on your device and click 'Get online' on your browser.

If you are a member of a university which has eduroam access you will be able to connect to eduroam in the Library.

When can I visit?

Your Manchester Metropolitan University ID card will give you access to the library during our opening hours.

 

How do I join?

Undergraduate and postgraduate part time, distance learning and placement students, full time taught postgraduates, staff and researchers registered for the SCONUL scheme can request a Manchester Metropolitan University library card. Please complete the application form below.  

The application process will take 14 working days to complete. We will confirm whether or not your application has been successful by email.

You will then be able to collect your card from All Saints Library. When collecting your card, you will need to show your current university ID card.
