Ebook Central

Opening Ebook Central eBooks

Links to ebooks from the Library catalogue or Library Search take you to the View Details page about that ebook on the Ebook Central website.

When browsing or searching the Ebook Central website select the required title hyperlink to open the View Details page for an ebook or the Read Online option.

Do not use the Download option unless you want to download a copy for one day (24 hours) to a personal computer or mobile device 

Reading

Use Previous Page and Next Page to turn the pages of the ebook (screenshot below).

Use the table of contents

All ebooks have a table of contents. Select the name of a section or chapter to open the ebook at the first page of that section or chapter (screenshot below).

Troubleshooting

The Ebook Central website and online reader is designed to work across all operating systems (including Linux) and popular web browsers (IE, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, and Opera). Ebook Central's suppliers encourage Ebook Central users to have the most recent OS updates and browser versions installed.

Additional Adobe software is required to download, print, and copy:

Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) is required to download Ebook Central eBooks for reading offline.
* To print or copy from the Ebook Central Online Reader, you are required to install Adobe Reader.

Some Ebook Central ebooks have simultaneous user limits. If you get a message stating the ebook is already in use, just try again in 15 minutes.
