x It is not possible to read ebooks from Cambridge Companions online using your device's web browser.
However, it is possible to download a section of the ebook to read on your device. Please see the guidance below.
!You will need to use the Firefox web browser in order to download from Cambridge Companions online. This is available for free from the Google Play Store. All other browsers are unsuccessful.
On a tablet device, clicking on the title of a Cambridge Companions Collection ebook in Library Search opens an interstitial record page. To open the ebook tap Full Text Online under Availability at the bottom of this page to log in and go to the ebook details page on the Cambridge Companions Collection site.
Or from the book's Catalogue record, tap Click here to access the e-resource to log in and go to the ebook details page on the Cambridge Companions Collection site.
The Cambridge Companion ebook details page will be displayed
To download you must tap the Read PDF link to the right of the section or chapter title.
The download will begin automatically.
Once the download has completed, swipe down the notification bar from the top left of the screen and tap the downloaded eBook section.
Select Adobe Reader from the list of apps to open the downloaded ebook section.
The ebook chapter or section will open in Adobe Reader.
To re-access at any point, open the Adobe Reader app, select Documents from the menu on the left hand side, and tap the ebook to reopen.
