Subscriber access to Policing Insight and PolicingTV is facilitated by users registering/signing in using a valid MMU email address i.e. with the suffixes
@stu.mmu.ac.uk for students and
@mmu.ac.uk for staff.
New users register an account at
Policing Insight and PolicingTV using a valid MMU email address.
To ensure future access, new users must set a password and validate their account via the Welcome email sent to their account email address. To validate your account, click the password link in the email to create a password for your account.
What to do if the validation email does not appear in your inbox
If the validation email does not appear in your email inbox straightaway, it may be in the spam filter. You can log into the
Mimecast Personal Portal using your university credentials.
Please log into Mimecast using your primary email address in the following non-digit format, e.g.
j.smith@stu.mmu.ac.uk instead of 12345678@stu.mmu.ac.uk (students)
j.smith@mmu.ac.uk (staff)
Select the email, then click the thumbs up icon to release the email from noreply@policinginsight.com
Existing users registered with a MMU email address just need to log in as usual and they will be automatically upgraded to subscriber access.
