The University has created a fund to support the payment of Article Processing Charges (APCs) to make your research output immediately Open Access via the Gold route. Before applying to the fund please discuss publication options with your Research Centre Head and/or Associate Dean (Research).
Once it has been agreed to support the payment of an APC, please contact the Library to process the payment. There is an online form to complete (link below), after which the Library will seek formal confirmation from your Associate Dean (Research).

If you decide to pay for an APC using other MMU funds a SAP code for APCs has been set up which can be used with any cost centre: GL Code 751070 Article Processing Charges (APC). Please use this code so that any APC payments can be tracked down and monitored through MMU’s finance systems.
