A Library Alphabet

Reservations

This Library Alphabet letter was brought to you by Rachel Fell and Nic Ward who are Librarians at All Saints Library and love all things to do with reading lists.  They both also have a penchant for day time soaps; Nic likes Doctors whilst Rachel prefers Neighbours!

If you can't find an item on the shelf, if it is in high demand, or if it is at another MMU Library we recommend placing a reservation.

Key points:

  • You can't reserve one day loans or reference items.
  • If you are an external student you can only reserve four week loan items.
  • We will email when your reservation(s) is ready to collect. They may not be ready immediately though. They may be being used by somebody else or they may have to be sent from another site library.
  • We will keep them on the reservation shelves for seven days.
  • Please issue collected reservations to your account using the self-issue machines.
  • You may reserve up to five items.
  • If we do not stock the book(s) you need, our inter-library loans service may be able to obtain them for you.

(Please remember to either collect or cancel your reservations as it makes library staff very sad when they find unwanted books!)
