The letter L, was brought to you by Liz Lafferty – Senior Library Assistant at Crewe – who has lots of ‘L’s in her name, and more importantly is a member of the ‘Love to Read’ team, who regularly suggest great books you can enjoy.
The Love to Read guide is about "reading for pleasure" or "leisure reading".
Both of these terms are used interchangeably to mean reading that is done primarily for enjoyment. This includes the reading of fiction or non-fiction books.
We are showcasing some of MMU Library services excellent reading material that might not necessarily be connected to your academic studies.

The School That Got Teens Reading

Monthly literary quiz at Waterstones, Deansgate
Each month, the Waterstones Deansgate booksellers host a fiendish literary quiz in their cafe. Maximum of 4 members per team, prize is a lovely bag of books. They also run a book club, and have an impressive list of other events on offer.
