Waterstones (Deansgate, Manchester branch) host a Spanish & Latin American book club on a monthly basis, aimed at 'fluent and intermediate speakers of Spanish who want to discuss great books in a relaxed and friendly environment. The group meets at 6.30 p.m. in the cafe on the 2nd floor - the book for May's meeting on 31st May is 'Como agua para chocolate' - we don't have the book here but we do have the DVD of the film if you fancy watching it.

They also run an LGBT book club called 'Q' which meets on the first Tuesday of the month.

You can find out more about events at  the Deansgate Waterstones here, The Crewe branch has just started running a book club which takes place in the Rhode Island Cafe next door
